<p class="Paragraph"><help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> comes with a sample template for a personal or business letter, which you can customize to your own needs with the help of the AutoPilot. The AutoPilot leads you step-by-step in creating a document template and offers numerous layout and design options. The preview gives you an impression of how the finished letter will appear according to the settings you choose.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">Within the dialog, you can modify your entries and options at any time. You may also skip an entire page or even all the AutoPilot pages, in which case the current (or default) settings will remain in effect.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">If you are creating a business letter, you can select a variety of elements to include in your document, which usually don't apply to personal letters, such as a subject line. Additionally, in a personal letter, the recipient only appears on the envelope, not on the first page of the letter. If you choose the <span class="T1">Personal</span> letter option, some pages which contain elements specific to business letters will not be included in the AutoPilot dialog.</p>

<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible">If you click this button, the AutoPilot saves the current settings and continues to the next page.</help:help-text> When you have reached the last page, this button will remain inactive.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">According to your selections, the AutoPilot creates a new document template and saves it on your hard disk.</help:help-text> <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/><help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> creates a new document based on the existing templates with the "Untitled X" name (X stands for the consecutive numbering) and displays it on the work area.<a name="ende"/></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> saves the current settings in the AutoPilot according to the chosen template. These will be used as the default settings the next time you activate the AutoPilot.</p>
